A Vote For Murder-Mystery Comedy Dinner Theatre
October 17, 2012 • 7pm
Tickets: SOLD OUT
Mud-slinging turns to murder when Senatorial candidates get together for a debate. Senator JT McKay is a good ol’ boy and that’s why he’s been in office for over 18 years. He knows how to play both sides of the political fence AND the political wallet. It appears he favors payoffs to keep his bank account clean and a certain lobbyist happy, making him a prime target for his competitors. Democrat Janet Capshaw thinks Senator McKay is nothing more than a bucket of political sludge and Independent Tom Luna sees a loophole in not only McKay’s past, but Capshaw, as well. As a matter of fact, Luna is doing so well and knows so much it is only a matter of time before he is found dead from gunshot wounds.
How far will someone go to be elected? Could Luna really prove that Senator McKay and possibly Janet Capshaw were receiving payoffs from unknown wealthy sources? Was campaign manager Roxanne Dumont truly devoted to Luna or did murder offer bigger headlines? Why did Katie Benton invite the three candidates to a fake press conference? Could this reporter want the Pulitzer so bad she would kill for it? And then there’s lobbyist Hal Bridges–a man who breaks rules and legs at the same time. It’s up to detective Lansing Hughes to see who could kill to be on Capitol Hill.
Watch the mystery unfold Wednesday, October 17, over a three-course dinner worth killing for.
